The I-8014CW (current) is a 16-channel singled-ended / 8-channel differential high performance analog input module. It features 16-bit resolution, 250Ks/s sampling rates, and 4K-sample FIFO. It has an isolation protection rating of 2500 Vrms.
The I-8014CW has built within it a scan feature called Magic Scan, which assists in improving many of the functions and meets the demands of high-end users. The Magic Scan mechanism not only scans the different input channels at different rates, but also scans for the different gains. Sampling rates are maintainable at 250KB/s in a multi-channel scan. The I-8014CW has two types of Magic Scan: 1.) Standard Scan and 2.) Virtual Sample and hold function scan. Almost all AI Cards are expensive if they provide a sample and hold function, but ICP DAS USA provides low-cost alternatives.
The I-8014CW provides 4K-sample onboard FIFO (first in first out) buffer for Analog and Digital. The new FIFO technology uses a trigger interrupt signal. Meaning that if the sample count is higher than the pre-defined FIFO level, an interrupt signal will notify the host.
High accuracy, high-speed sample rate, high-level FIFO, and all Magic Scan technologies are all features which are encapsulated in the I-8014CW.
